Abraham was asked to offer his only son as a sacrifice. While on the road to the place of sacrifice, he was asked by the would-be-sacrifice:Isaac, the lamb meant for sacrifice; he replied "God would provide himself a sacrifice". With these confession he saved his son as a sacrificial lamb and prophesied not only the coming messiah but the provision of a lamb by God for sacrifice(Genesis 22;8).

David while on collision course with the giant of the philistine army on the battlefield confessed positive against all odds, hear him; "today the lord will hand you over to me and i will cut off your head and give your carcass to the birds of the air and beast of the field". what he confessed is exactly what happened that day on the battlefield. 1 Samuel 17:37,46-47

A decree of total annihilation of the Jews in Susa had just been passed, Mordecai, a Jew servant in the court of the king, sent a message to the queen to appeal against it to the king on behalf of her people, because she too was a Jew. The queen sent a reply back to Mordecai that the request made by him for her to see the king without the king calling for her carries a death penalty. Here's what Mordecai sent as message back to queen Esther, "......if you remain silent at this time, enlargement and deliverance will arise from another place",( Esther4:14) and not death sentence on all Jews. He changed the death sentence to enlargement and deliverance by the power of positive confession.

I will confess its rather a big challenge to confess positive in the face of a life threatening situation. Its like a convicted murderer at the point of execution saying 'am sure i will live long and repent totally'. Seems laughable isn't it?

Job is another fellow i have great regard for, his fear of the unknown made him confess negative which were his fear; hear him"that which i fear has finally come upon me", but when he realized himself he countered that confession with a more positive confession, saying" i know my redeemer lives...." (Job3:25;19:25 ).

I told a friend, i was owing my company to the tune of a million naira, which wasn't true. I said this because i wanted to buy time to pay some money to him for a job he did for me. Few months later i discovered  i had a debt profile of the same amount i couldn't explain how it all came about. It took the supernatural intervention of the holy spirit to reveal it to me the source of my challenge  while i was fasting and praying on the issue.
Do you know the money was paid through means i couldn't imagine earlier, this happened  when i canceled what i had previously said and changed my confession on the issue.

Is it not possible you must have spoken into existence where you are right now or talked yourself into your present situation? there's hope, if only you can rise up now and cancel those negative confessions made in time past about yourself or another person and begin to make a conscious positive confessions, only then is change certain. http://www.bloghints.com
